FOUNDED IN 2002

 

Clarke Community Dollars for Scholars was founded in 2002 with the cooperation of the Clarke Community School District. It is operated totally by local volunteers and is affiliated nationally with Scholarship America. 

Since its founding, we have annually awarded Clarke Community graduating seniors a scholarship ranging from $125 to $350. In some cases, students may be eligible for a matching scholarship depending on the college of choice.

The bulk of funds for scholarships comes from individuals.  We also have the support of area businesses, service clubs, and alumni.
